Madame Tussauds spins high drama, removes Harry and Meghan from Royal Family
Madame Tussauds is heating up some high drama, physically removing statues of Harry and Meghan from its Royal Family wax figure collection.
It follows the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's decision "to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family and work to become financially independent, while continuing to fully support Her Majesty The Queen," announced on Wednesday via the couple's official Instagram account.

Here's what it looked like before, with Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip, William and Kate, and Harry and Meghan. Madame Tussauds told Mashable that Charles, Prince of Wales and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall also are part of the set, but you just can't see them in here.

Seriously, there's just a massive space next to the Queen:

Whether that means they're just out in the hall, or in the basement, or holding up a lampshade right now, we're not sure. They're just physically not part of the wax Royal Family anymore.
"Alongside the rest of the world we are reacting to the surprising news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be stepping back as senior Royals. From today, Meghan and Harry’s figures will no longer appear in our Royal Family set," Steve Davies, general manager at Madame Tussauds in London, said in a statement.
"As two of our most popular and well-loved figures they will of course remain an important feature at Madame Tussauds London as we watch to see what the next chapter holds for the them."
It's not the first time Madame Tussauds has made headlines for high drama removals. The wax museum reportedly removed former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl for not being "relevant." Harsh.
