You'll be able to charge your iPhone 8, 8 Plus, and X on an IKEA lamp
The iPhone 8 is here. And, so too is a new generation of wireless charging for iPhone users.
For the first time, iPhone users will be able to charge their phones on IKEA furniture without the need for a wireless adaptor.

"Finally, the time is here when iPhone owners can make use of the multi-functional RIGGAD – your phone’s favorite lamp," reads an IKEA statement.
IKEA has been selling wireless charging pads since 2015, but all the products required adaptors in order to function as iPhone chargers. Until now, iPhone users had to buy IKEA's VITAHULT wireless charging cover in order to make their phones compatible with the lamp.
"With this launch [of the iPhone 8], IKEA and Apple are finally aligning," an IKEA spokesperson told Mashable.

The wireless charging RIGGAD lamp can be purchased for $69.99 from IKEA stores worldwide.
